Was That An iPhone 8 That Tim Cook Was Carrying In His Pocket

People have been going crazy ever since last year to get a peek of Apple's new iPhone 8. The internet has been taken over with dummies of the iPhone 8 model and there are about a thousand videos describing about the probable specs of iPhone 8 alone. It is understood that the device is somewhere being tested in Apple's labs and very much exists. However, Apple CEO Tim Cook might be using one and he might have flaunted us a glimpse of it. Tim recently uploaded a picture of him with team members at CTS in Cincinnati, where he seemed to carry an iPhone 8 in his pocket. Besides there was no confirmation about it, people realized that the phone was too tall to be an iPhone 7 and too narrow to be a 7 Plus. "Looks like Tim Cook is carrying an iPhone 8 in his pocket. It is too tall to be an...

Twitter has started using a trendy type of artificial intelligence to figure out which tweets to show on the timeline of its over 300 million monthly active users. Google Acquired Twitter Mobile App Developer Platform Fabric

Google is acquiring Twitter's mobile application developer platform Fabric, a move which could give some breathing room for the social network after charting an independent path without a suitor. Terms of the deal were not announced. Twitter last year was in talks to sell itself with several firms including Google parent Alphabet, but without a deal decided to continue on an independent path, cutting jobs and refocusing on its core services. The sale of Fabric will shift to Google the platform used by developers for mobile apps. "When we launched Fabric in 2014, our goal was to provide the best tools to help developers create amazing apps," the Fabric team said in a blog post. "Today we enter the next chapter for Fabric and are pleased to announce that we've signed an agreement for ...

A Tweet That Shake Twitter Business in China

Twitter's manager for China, whose appointment just eight months ago sparked controversy, has announced her resignation but welcomed the growing number of Chinese advertisers even though the service is blocked by Beijing. Kathy Chen, appointed in April as general manager for the China region comprising mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, made the announcement yesterday evening on her own Twitter account. "Now that the Twitter APAC team (Asia-Pacific team in Singapore) is working directly with Chinese advertisers, this is the right time for me to leave the company," she said. Like other Western platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, Twitter is inaccessible in mainland China, blocked by the communist regime's vast system of internet censorship. Unable to reach l...

Decoding: Why Pierce Brosnan aka James Bond Endorse Indian Tobacco Brand Pan Bahar?

Why Pierce Brosnan is desperate enough to endorse a Pan Bahar brand? My friend asked after seeing the full page Pan Bahar ad on newspaper. Is he lost the shine in Hollywood or Indian company are capable enough to convince him for this ad? The choice of pan masala ad from Brosnan might be because of his Bond films gaining a lot of traction in India. Rural folk in India love uncomplicated spy thrillers and action films with fight sequences (A market discovered unintentionally by Mithun Chakraborty)- which is never in short supply from the English movies from US and UK. Most of such English films are dubbed to Hindi and other regional languages for the benefit of the rural audience. The rural men are the prime focus of business for this company. Pierce Brosnan is not new to the Indian adver...

Facebook CEO Says Group Will Not Become a Media Company

Facebook will not become a media company, its founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Monday, telling students the firm would remain a technology platform. An increasing number of users are turning to social media networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, to find their news, but Zuckerberg said his firm had no ambitions to become a content provider. "No, we are a tech company, not a media company," said Zuckerberg, after a young Italian asked him whether Facebook intended to become a news editor.
