Microsoft Corporation, the tech giant, announced that it is planning to extend the rights of the European Union’s new data privacy law to its global customers and not exclusively to users from European territory. Technology giant Microsoft is gearing up to launch a new line of low-cost Surface tablets that could go head to head with Apple's famous line of tablets, the iPads. Reported First by Bloomberg, the company's smaller low-cost Surface tablets could arrive as soon as second half of 2018. Apple Inc’s chief executive Tim Cook said developers using its platform in China number 1.8 million and have earned a total 112 billion yuan ($16.93 billion), representing roughly a quarter of total global App Store earnings.
