Xiaomi, a leading chinese smartphone company is all set to launch its next Android One device in its portfolio, known as Xiaomi Mi A2 exclusively in India. The second generation of Android One handset has been spotted on e-commerce website Amazon.
Therefore, it isn’t clear whether the handset will be available for purchase on the day of the launch, August 8, or sometime later after its launch in India.
DISPLAY: 5.99-inch IPS LCD screen of full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with 18:9 aspect ratio.
COLOUR: Gold, Blue and Black
WEIGHT: It measures 158.70 x 75.40 x 7.30 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 168.00 grams.

BATTERY: 3010mAh battery, QuickCharge 3.0 (that allows the phone’s battery to go from nil to 50 percent in 30 minutes)
CAMERA: AI-integrated selfie camera featuring a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor with f/1.75 aperture. The dual rear camera setup too boasts of Artificial Intelligence-based features with 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX486 sensor with f/1.75 aperture and 1.25-micron pixels, and a 20-megapixel secondary Sony IMX376 sensor with the f/1.75 aperture but 2-micron 4-in-1 Super Pixel size.

PRICE: Xiaomi launched the Mi A2 in Spain at the price of EUR 249 (roughly Rs 20,100) for the 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The new variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option, bears a price tag of EUR 279 (roughly Rs 22,500), and the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option costs EUR 349 (around Rs 28,100). However, given the exchange rates, it is quite possible that the phone might be priced slightly lesser in India.
Recently, Amazon India has posted a dedicated page for the Xiaomi Mi A2 on its platform. it features a ‘Notify Me’ button, which provides an option to sign in using your name, email ID, and phone number to receive notifications on the arrival of the Xiaomi Mi A2 in India. The smartphone is also likely to be available via Xiaomi’s own Mi.com site.
