Amazon Partners Apple to Sell New Devices in India & other markets

Amazon has struck a deal with Apple to directly start selling more Apple products in India and other markets like United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan among others. In the coming weeks, Amazon will start offering the latest editions of Apple's iPhone, iPad and other devices like Beats headphones in these markets. The online retail giant will however not offer Apple's HomePod smart speaker, that directly competes with Amazon Echo. CNET was first to report this deal. Amazon to Increase Minimum Wages of US Employees to $15

Amazon has announced that the company is reportedly raising the minimum wage for all its United States employees to $15 which will be effective from next month. The raise is applicable for part-time workers and those hired through temporary agencies. The company mentioned that it would also persuade Washington to raise the federal minimum wage which has been around $7.25 for almost a decade. The rise in the wages will apply to more than 250,000 Amazon employees, including those at the grocery chain Whole Foods. Also, it will apply to more than 100,000 seasonal employees that the company plans to appoint for the holiday season. China has reportedly offered to buy agricultural and energy products worth $70 billion approximately from the United States as long as the Trump administration is not moving forward to impose tariffs against the country. This offer popped up during a meeting in Beijing held this weekend between Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and the Chinese economic adviser Liu He. American E-commerce Giant Amazon is launching a new app store that will have special tools dedicated to helping sellers manage inventory and orders. Singapore’s Electric Car-Sharing Programme Hits The Road

Singapore launched on Tuesday its first large-scale electric car-sharing programme through which the land-scarce city-state hopes to provide commuters with more transport options and steer them away from the need to buy their own cars.
