World’s First Automatic Transportation Pods Tested In Dubai

Hyperloop One today announced the successful completion of the world's first full systems Hyperloop test in a vacuum environment. This test was Phase 1 of a multi-phase program and was privately conducted on May 12, 2017 at the company's test track, 'DevLoop' in the Nevada Desert. Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani has partnered venture capital veteran Sanjeev Aggarwal to set up a USD 100 million fund that will focus on building "enduring technology companies" out of India, specially consumer technology. Infosys To Pay $1 Million Fine To New York In Visa Violation Case

IT major Infosys has reached a settlement for USD 1 million with the state of New York in a visa-related case, even though the company maintained it committed no wrongdoings and the probe was centred on alleged paperwork errors. In a statement, New York Attorney General Eric T Schneiderman today said a USD 1-million settlement with the Indian IT firm has been reached to conclude the investigation. E-commerce technology provider Shopmatic today said it has raised USD 5.7 million from a group of investors led by venture capitalist firm ACP Pte Ltd and Spring Seeds Capital. The company will use this fund to expand its global footprint.
