Twitter Lite App to Expand in 21 More Countries
One of the leading social media platforms Twitter has announced that its lighter app known as Twitter Lite will be expanding to 21 more countries. After the expansion, Twitter Lite will be available to people across 45 countries in total.
The data-saving app was launched last year with an aim to increase the user base and bring in users especially from emerging markets to Twitter. Like various other lite apps, Twitter Lite has also been designed to provide better and faster surfing even on slower network connectivity, like 2G and 3G.
Also, the app has a smaller storage capacity, so it takes up less space on the phone. The app is less than 3MB in size, so it loads quickly on slower networks as well.
