Mumbai Based Web Testing Platform BrowserStack Raises $50 Million Funding

Mumbai based mobile and web testing service platform BrowserStack raised $50 million venture funding from led by venture fund Accel Partners ( Accel US and India).  The six-year-old Mumbai-based company now valued more than $400 million. The company was operating on bootstrap model and running profitable from last six years and this is also be the largest series A round for an Indian tech startup. The platform is used by over two million developers in 135 countries. It has more than 25,000 paying customers, including Microsoft, Twitter, and Mastercard. Zoomcar Launches Bike-Sharing Service in Mumbai Metropolitan

Self-drive car company Zoomcar has launched its cycle sharing service, PEDL, in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region starting with the privately-developed smart city, Palava. This is the fifth city after Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru where Zoomcar has launched this service. At present, PEDL cycles have been placed across 30 locations in Palava. Zoomcar said that PEDL has about 200 cycles at launch, and has been able to manage more than 2,000 trips per days on an average since its launch on December 9. "We are piloting the project in Palava here, and will soon spread it across various other locations in Mumbai," said Nirmal NR, VP operations and growth, for Zoomcar Mumbai. Aeries Financial Pvt Ltd owned CASHe has raised around Rs 20 Crore debt funding from IFMR Capital, as per the financial daily report. Mumbai based CASHe is one year old and plans to utilise fresh funds in accelerating its growth and build a loan book of subsidiary Bhanix Finance and Investment Ltd. Chaayos, run by Sunshine Teahouse Pvt Ltd, has raised around $2 million from its existing investor Tiger Global Management in an internal funding round, as per the source Mint. The funds will be utilised to expand tea cafe chain of Sunshine Teahouse, running under the brand name Chaayos.
