The Mumbai-based, Kishore Biyani owned ‘Future Group’ soon plans to begin the door-to-door delivery of dairy products like milk, eggs and bread every morning to its customers. The service will be inaugurated in the coming two weeks in the metro cities as of now, but will surely reach to other cities later. The milk delivery services have been recently observing a boost in the e-commerce sector and by the investors. The Future Group led milk delivery service can be availed simply by placing an order through a mobile app called Easyday, and the outlets will deliver the specified products within 2-3 km radius. Mother Dairy Launches Aadhar Enabled Payment System at Booths

To promote cash less transactions, Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt Ltd today introduced Aadhar enabled payment system in more than 1,000 milk booths and 'Safal' retail stores. This service would now be available in addition to the existing modes like E-wallets and SmartChange Cards. "The decision to introduce Aadhar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) was taken by the company officials on December 27, 2016 and was implemented in more than 1,000 Booths in record 3 days," the company said in a statement. Mother Dairy Eyes Rs 10,000-cr Turnover in 3 yrs

Leading milk supplier of India, Mother Dairy is eyeing to cross Rs 10,000 crore turnover mark in next three years on rising demand for dairy products as well as fresh and processed fruits and vegetables. Mother Dairy, which supplies about 30 lakh litres of milk in the national capital region has posted a turnover of Rs 7,186 crore during last fiscal, out of which about 75 percent is from its dairy business. "We are aiming for more than Rs 10,000 crore turnover by the end of FY19 with expected rise in sales across all the segments," Mother Dairy MD S Nagarajan said. Coca Cola to Enter Dairy Drinks Segment in India

(PTI)- Beverages major Coca Cola on Monday announced its foray into value-added dairy drinks segment in the Indian market with Vio brand, which will make its debut across the country next month. The company, which will introduce two flavours under Vio, has tied up with Reliance Retail as part of pilot launch to make the brand available exclusively across the latter's 500 stores starting tomorrow. "We have been getting into new categories and we will be getting into sparkling drinks with juices. We are now getting into dairy segment with Vio in two flavours in the value added dairy category," Coca Cola India & South West Asia President Venkatesh Kini said.
