Soon You Dial ‘14444’ To Raise Your Queries on Digitial Payments

Nasscom, telecom operators, and NITI Aayog have come together in creating a dedicated helpline 14444 for addressing all queries on digitial payments, as government takes strides to push for more digital transactions post demonetisation. After the fourth meeting of the Committee of Chief Ministers on digital payments, Convenor and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said, plans are afoot to import one million PoS machines to enable cashless payments across India. Capany was born in 1927 in Moga, Punjab, he graduated from Agra University and went on to his Ph.D at Imperial College, London. His groundbreaking research led to wide ranging applications in not just high speed communications, but also medical imaging from OFC networks to endoscopic to laser surgery. There he became the first person in the world to demonstrate that light can travel in bent glass fibres. Swachh Internet- Indian Govt to Soft Launch Malware Cleaning System From Dec 20

Government will kick start operations of a long-awaited malware and botnet cleaning centre with soft launch on December 20, a programme aimed at automatically disinfecting computers and mobiles from viruses and malicious software for free. "Major cybersecurity initiative of Digital India. Soft Launch of BotNet cleaning centre of India CERT from December 20," Ministry of Electronics and IT, Additional Secretary Ajay Kumar tweeted today. Botnet is a network of malicious softwares that can steal information, take control of device function and carry out cyber attacks like Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) that prevent access of websites. Incumbent telecom operators Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular today made an attempt to match free 4G service of Reliance Jio by launching two identical schemes offering free calls and limited mobile internet use priced at around Rs 150 and Rs 350 with 28 days validity. To match Jio unlimited calling plan, Airtel and Idea today announced scheme priced at Rs 345 and Rs 348 respectively that will allow their customers to make unlimited calls to any network in the country. Reliance Global Call (RGC) today launched an international calling app which enables direct- dialing of contacts, doing away with the need to enter toll- free or PIN numbers. 1RGC India', a subsidiary of Reliance Communications, also announced an introductory offer under which customers can avail talk time worth Rs 200 on sign-up with Rs 100.
