Xiaomi Asks Users For Their Personal Details
The consumer electronics company Xiaomi that at present rules the Indian market has silently updated its privacy policy for the Indian website. The policy was updated on 25 April 2018 and will come into force from 25 May 2018.
The new policy wants the users to provide them with their personal information such as bank details, working place and much more. In case the user does not provide this information, he will not be able to make use of all the Xiaomi services.
The privacy policy on the official website reads, “If you do not agree with these changes and no longer wish to use our services, you may cancel your account.” This clearly states that the users' account will be canceled if he does not provide his private details.
