Tata Power Pacts with Tata Motors to Make Maharshtra EV Ready

Electric Utility Company Tata Power Ltd. has partnered with Tata Motors Ltd. to make Maharashtra electric vehicle ready, a move that will focus on establishing charging stations in the state for public use. The company has signed a MoU with the state to support the Maharashtra Electric Vehicle Policy (2018) in accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles, as informed in the Tata Motors official statement. Maharashtra Chief Minister Launched Job Portal For Job Seekers

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today launched a web portal Mahaswayam that will cater to job seekers, employers, entrepreneurs, and training institutes who can avail details regarding skill development and employment. Earlier, the state government ran three different portals- Maharashtra State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) portal for Skill Development, Maharojgar for employment and Mahaswayamrojgar for entrepreneurship. Foxconn $5 Billion Investment is Not Going Anywhere, Says Devendra Fadnavis

As per the news that Taiwan-based tech giant Foxconn may shy away from its proposed USD 5 billion investment in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said the company is "not going anywhere" and hoped issues raised by it will be resolved soon. "Foxconn had issues pertaining to the Central government. The company wants its manufacturing costs here to match those in China," he said while speaking to reporters at his residence 'Varsha' here.
