Senior Executive Anand Chandrasekaran Quits Facebook

Facebook’s director of platforms and product partnerships Anand Chandrasekaran based in its Menlo Park headquarters has resigned from the company. He started his job at Facebook in 2016 and after two years of his work, he quit. His departure ends a two-year stint which began in September 2016, where he had joined to work on Facebook’s popular Messenger product. Along with this, Chandrasekaran is also an active angel investor in the Indian startup ecosystem. Parenting Startup BabyChakra Raises Funds from Multiple Investors

Online parenting company BabyChakra has reportedly secured an undisclosed amount of funds in a funding round. The round was led by investors including Mark Mobius & Rajesh Sehgal backed Equanimity Ventures Fund, Facebook’s director Anand Chandrasekaran and OYO’s Chief Strategy Officer Maninder Gulati. The funds so raised will be utilized in strengthening the company’s region and vernacular segment. Anand Chandrasekaran Invested in Fashion E-commerce Portal Fynd

Fashion e-commerce portal Fynd has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Facebook executive Anand Chandrasekaran. Arvind Sports Lifestyle CEO Rajiv Mehta and Livspace co-founder Ramakant Sharm also participated in this round. Fynd optimises delivery time for online shoppers by sourcing products from the outlets nearest to the customer. It sells fashion apparel, bags and accessories on its platform.
