Home decor and furnishing company DDecor has invested Rs 25 crore in digital integration of its business and retail operations, and expects to increase its market share by 10 per cent in the next five years, a senior company executive said.
“We have unveiled a digital product for sellers that will cover 1,000 sales points through the newly launched D-Assist platform. We will extend the digital platform for our designers and architects, and customers by August this year,” Ajay Arora, Managing Director of DDecor Home Fabrics said.
“We expect to increase our marketshare to 40 per cent from the present 30 per cent in the next five years through this initiative, which will also help us expand our markets,” he added. The company has invested Rs 25 crore in the exercise of digitally integrating its business, he revealed.
The brand with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan as brand ambassadors, intends to cover at least 200 more sales points by the end of this fiscal, which will enable major expansions of the brand in key cities.
“We want to expand our sales points by 20 per cent, or add about 200 outlets by the end of the current fiscal. We also have about 15 DDecor stores through a franchisee model.
We will grow these by about 15 per cent as well,” he added. The D-Assist technology solution (app as well as website) has been unveiled for the sellers, and by August the consumers will also be able to fully access the platform to enable easy business, the company said.
The brand expects to get about 10 per cent of its revenues from the online segment in the next few years, but expects to influence at least 25 per cent of its customers online, Arora said. Currently, DDecor exports home fabrics to 65 countries.
