WhatsApp Extend Group Users Limit From 100 Users to 256 Users

Facebook Owned messenger App WhatsApp has silently updated its Android version group limit of users which includes now 256 users. Earlier the group user limit was 100 users per group.  iOS users have also received an update that brings the same functionality, with version 2.12.13 of the app. It is worth mentioning that the new group limit is only visible on Android and iOS for now. However, it should reach Windows Phone, BlackBerry, and other platforms soon. WhatsApp last month got rid of its $1 (approximately Rs. 68) annual subscription fee. Big Blow For Aamir Khan, Snapdeal Will Not Renew The Contract as a Brand Ambassador

As per the report, Snapdeal one of India's biggest e-commerce company has decided not to renew Bollywood star Aamir Khan's contract as brand ambassador of the ecommerce company. The one-year endorsement deal ends later this month. Snapdeal may not replace Khan with another celebrity as it looks to rationalise ad expenditure and focus instead on repeat customers, enhancing categories and trying to encourage buyers to shop through its FreeCharge wallet. Last month the tourism ministry dropped Khan as brand ambassador of the Incredible India campaign that the actor was associated with since 2009. Reuters- Google parent Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O) said Amit Singhal, the longtime chief of its Internet search business, will leave the company and be replaced by the head of the technology giant's artificial intelligence business. Big Blow For Paytm & Mobikwik- IRCTC Barred Usage of E-wallets between 8AM to 12PM

The railway ministry on Thursday announced new rules for booking of online tickets through the IRCTC website, which will be effective from February 15. It has barred usage of e-wallets and cash cards between 8 am and 12 noon, besides reducing the maximum number of ticket bookings allowed to an individual user to six in a month from the current 10. The ministry of railways’ decision could affect Paytm and Mobikwik’s plans to get train travellers to use their mobile wallets. Only last month Gurgaon-based One MobiKwik Systems Pvt Ltd, which runs Mobikwik, had said that it expects to facilitate railway ticket bookings worth Rs 1.75 crore in the next six months.
