Deepinder Goyal, Founder of Zomato apologised on Zomato Blog because of some folks got offended by the recent porn campaign. Zomato had tried an advertising campagin that involved using websites similar in nature to porn7 to, however, this tactic seemed to backfire with Zomato's audience, causing the founder to offer an apology. Facebook Inc. announced today that all of its videos will load through HTML5 by default. Spencer’s Retail has forayed into online space with the acquisition of 100 per cent stake in meragrocer.com at an undisclosed sum to grab 10 per cent of revenue in 4-5 years.The deal is a mixture of debt and equity. This acquisition makes meragrocer.com a subsidiary of Spencer’s, and will form the starting point of Spencer’s online retail business, Spencer’s said in a statement. “With the acquisition we will be able to enter the online channel for Spencer’s soon. Facebook at Work, Facebook Inc's professional version of its social network, is expected to launch in the coming months, after spending a year in tests, a company executive said. Dr Lal PathLabs raises $28.6M ahead of IPO

Dr Lal PathLabs Pvt Ltd, operator of the second-largest medical diagnostics services chain in the country, has raised Rs 191 crore ($28.6 million) by selling shares to anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering. The company allotted 34.80 lakh shares at Rs 550 apiece to anchor investors, it said in a statement on Monday. The anchor investors included investment funds and mutual fund schemes operated by Fidelity, T Rowe Price, JP Morgan, Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and SBI Magnum Mutual Fund. Mutual fund schemes of DSP Blackrock, ICICI Prudential, Kotak Mahindra and Reliance Capital also invested. The IPO will hit the capital markets on Tuesday and close on Thursday. BSNL Revenue : Rs 672-crore operating profit in 2014-15, first Net profit by 2018

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, an Indian state-owned telecommunications company is back on track for recovery with Rs 672-crore operating profit in 2014-15 and is likely to report the first net profit in the last nine years within 2018, communications minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said. The company’s income from services grew 4.16% to 27,242 crore in 2014-15, the highest in the last five years. Fitness tracker startup GOQii has raised Series A funding worth $13.2 million (Rs 88 crore) led by New Enterprise Associates and Cheetah Mobile, with participation from Great Wall Club, DSG Consumer Partners, Ilkka Paananen (CEO and co-founder of Supercell) and Pravin Gandhi (co-founder of Seedfund) reports Mint.   GOQii will use the funds to expand to China and other unnamed markets, and is working on Chinese content before launching it there.
