San Francisco-headquartered AI/ML development platform Brev.Dev has been acquired by the GPU powerhouse NVIDIA.
In recent developments, Nvidia also acquired three more AI startups like Shoreline.io valued at around $100 million, Deci, an Israeli startup, valued at an estimated $300 million, further strengthens Nvidia’s portfolio in the AI technology space.
Brev, a platform tailored for AI/ML development, streamlines the process of constructing, training, and deploying ML models in the cloud. Developed by and for developers, Brev addresses the complexities of scaling ML projects with its agile yet robust platform. It utilizes various cloud providers to optimize GPU selection for cost-effectiveness, enabling the execution of any code on GPU instances for comprehensive model training and deployment in the cloud.
Starting from modest CPU instances, Brev seamlessly scales up to larger GPU clusters to accommodate any workload.
Established in 2021, the startup’s CEO and co-founder, Nader Khalil, shared, “We initiated Brev in my parents’ garage with the vision of creating the ultimate developer experience.” Khalil mentioned their collaboration with NVIDIA, particularly with Michael Balint, Manuvir Das, Manish, Harsh Julio C. Tapia, since August.
Ishan Dhanani, the Head of AI/ML at Brev, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition by NVIDIA.
