Google One is Now Live for Users in the U.S.

It was a few months ago that the technology giant Google announced the release of its new subscription program known as Google One. This program has been designed to get more storage on Google Drive and various other perks.

The subscription program has now been rolled out and over the last few weeks, Google gradually rolled existing Drive subscribers over to a Google One membership and from now on, new users can sign up for a One subscription as well.

Talking about the subscription fee, Google One plans start at 100 GB for $1.99. Along with this, there is also a 200 GB tier for $2.99 and a 2 TB option for $9.99. In case a user wants more storage space, the company will sell the user 10 TB, 20 TB and 30 TB plans for between $99.99 and $299.99 per month.

An advantage of this new program is that the user can share your storage allotment with up to five family members. Storage has been given a major focus in this subscription program.

However, apart from storage, the plans have various other perks too. The most attractive of these may be access to live 24/7 support. Another advantage that can be stated under this is that the users get deals on hotels when they search for them on Google Maps.

Google One can be majorly considered as a consumer product. The company also offered credits to one member on Google Play. It also stated that the members will also be offered deals for purchases in the Google Store and through Google Express in the near future.

For now, Google One is only available in the U.S., but it’ll roll out to more countries soon.
