This comes as an enthralling news for the citizens of India as WhatsApp is the most used application by atleast 200 million daily users. The payment service will be launched in a beta version of its messaging app for now. Due to a lot of reasons such as, 2G data service, easy platform of WhatsApp, thousands of people depend upon the app solely, unlike Facebook, Instagram and other mobile app platforms that need a much higher data speed to perform.
The latest feature of whatsapp has already been released to some of the users and in the eventful buzz, people have started to express their joy on social media platforms. It uses the Indian government’s Unified Payments Interface(UPI), framework, as per the reports.

The feature is launched under the National Payments Corporation of India, the body that look after all the digital payments in India. For Indians, other digital payments app such as Paytm wallet, Mobikwik Wallet have turned out to be fruitful for faster payments. Paytm that is widely used for individual to individual, individual to merchant, individual to bank services will face a strong competition after whatsapp will launch its full flegded feature some time later. WhatsApp have already signed with a number of banks in India, however the date of full service launch as not yet been announced. The feature will pop up in the options for attachment in the Chat Window.
