Google Brings In Offline Mode For Chrome On Android

The biggest search engine Google has announced the introduction of Google Chrome offline mode for the Android users. The company had launched Chrome with the idea of “everyone, everywhere” and now with this new feature, it is becoming stronger.

Further, Google stated that the users who are signed into their account on Chrome can also access admissible content on the basis of their browser history. This downloaded content can then be accessed and will be available at any point in time, even without internet connection.

“Today, we’re introducing another way for Chrome on Android users in India, along with more than 100 countries including Nigeria, Indonesia, and Brazil, to surf the web with Chrome on Android devices – even without a constant internet connection. When you’re connected to free, unmetered WiFi, Chrome will automatically download relevant articles, based on what content is most popular in your location,” said Amanda Boss, Product Manager of Offline Chrome for Android.

The major focus and goal of the company are to make the website work uninterrupted and smooth for everyone and everywhere. With the introduction of the offline feature, the web accessibility will improve to a great extent especially tailored to NBU markets.

The offline capabilities will be built to an automatic data saver for the purpose. Almost everybody faces problems of network connectivity and slow internet and thus, it can be frustrating and hard to access the web at that time, but this feature wouldn’t stop us from accessing our favorite sites to get information, whether it’s recent news or the latest cricket results.

The Android users can now make use of the offline feature introduced by Google simply by updating to the latest version of Google Chrome on the Google Play Store.
