Adobe Brings Government ID Authentication Option for Adobe Sign

Adobe Sign that is Adobe’s e-sign solution has introduced a new signer identification solution called Government ID Authentication that uses a physical ID including a driver’s license or passport, as a form of digital ID authentication.

With this, signers can take a picture of the physical ID card through their mobile phone, after which Adobe Sign automatically evaluates the ID card’s security features. These include patterns, fonts, and layout, to authenticate the signer’s identity and complete the signature process.

The company stated that this would help their customers implement e-signatures in a whole new set of business processes and industries, such as banking and other financial services.

It has also announced integrations with two key HRsolutions that are Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent and ServiceNow HRService Delivery. This will enable them to support more HR organisations. The company claims that Adobe Sign is the first and onlye-signature solution to be integrated to these HR solutions.

The solution already has integrations with other HR solutions like Workday and SAP SuccessFactors.

Along with this, Adobe is also enabling higher document security in PDFs with the support of Microsoft Information Protection in Acrobat DCand Acrobat Reader on Windows. With this, the company will allow other companies to open and view PDF files that have been secured by Microsoft Information Protection inAcrobat DC, making it the preferred PDF viewer for Microsoft Information Protection solutions.
