Youtube Projects Original Programming In India, Japan Other Markets

YouTube is planning to create scripted series and another original programming for international markets including France, Germany, Japan, Mexico and India in order to draw new customers to its paid subscription service, informed a senior executive. YouTube allows users to upload, view, rate, share, add to favourites, report, comment on videos, and subscribe to other users. It offers a wide variety of user-generated and corporate media videos. YouTube Music To Launch Soon, Now Pay Extra To Watch Originals

World's Largest Video Streaming Platform, YouTube is gearing up to launch a revamped version of its new music service-and at the same time is getting ready to charge more to see original shows like "Karate Kid" spinoff. To recap, about two years ago YouTube had launched an on-demand music service called YouTube Red which was more or less similar to Spotify or Apple Music. The service had removed ads while showcasing its content. With the new YouTube Music, the focus on personalisation will continue but the service will come with some extra bells and whistles such as a personal playlist based on YouTube history and other usage patterns. YouTube offers subscribers paid option with no ads

Reuters- Alphabet Inc's YouTube will launch a $10-a-month subscription option in the United States on Oct. 28 that will allow viewers to watch videos from across the site without interruption from advertisements, the company said on Wednesday. Starting early next year, the service called YouTube Red will add exclusive shows and movies from top YouTube creators including PewDiePie, Lilly Singh and The Fine Brothers. "Consumers are embracing paid subscriptions of ad-free content at an incredible pace," Robert Kyncl, YouTube's chief business officer, said at an event at YouTube's production space in Los Angeles.
