Furniture brand Godrej Interio would unveil its own e-commerce platform in India by April 2017 to help customers make choice from a wide range of products. U.S. internet publisher Gawker Media Group said on Thursday that it would shut down Gawker.com next week, ending the online news and gossip website's 14-year run. The decision comes two days after Univision Holdings Inc won a bankruptcy auction to acquire Gawker for $135 million, outbidding media company Ziff Davis LLC. Univision's winning bid for Gawker will go before a U.S. bankruptcy judge later in the day. US-based web hosting firm GoDaddy today said it will make its services available in three Indian languages -- Hindi, Marathi and Tamil -- to enable over 31 million small businesses (SMBs) to build their online presence. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a new scheme that provides 50 percent cash back offer on pre-paid orders having a minimum value of Rs 300, a move set to further boost its e-catering facility. The facility has become available on IRCTCs e-catering website since May 13, said IRCTC CMD AK Manocha. The cash back offer is valid only for meals booked through IRCTC and having a value of more than Rs 300 in a single order.
