Rivigo raises $65 million from Warburg Pincus, SAIF Partners

Logistics firm Rivigo has raised USD 65 million (about Rs 450 crore) in a Series E funding round led by existing investors Warburg Pincus and SAIF Partners. The company plans to utilise the funds to further strengthen its technology and network coverage, Rivigo said in a statement. "Rivigo raised a funding of USD 65 million in the ongoing series E round led by existing investors Warburg Pincus and SAIF Partners," the Gurugram-based company said. WeWork India Eyeing to Raise $200 Mn from Goldman and Warburg

The Indian wing of Co-working mammoth WeWork lead by billionaire developer Jitu Virwani of Embassy Group is in talks with global leaders Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus to raise $200 million. This will land the local's unit to earn a unicorn status nearing valuation of $1 Billion. As per the sources, Goldman, Warburg eye $200 million stakes in WeWork India. WeWork in India is operated exclusively by Virwani and Embassy under a deal that materialised two years ago. Warburg Pincus Invests Rs 500 Cr in Kalyan Jewellers

Kerala-based Kalyan Jewellers today announced American private equity firm Warburg Pincus has invested an additional Rs 500 crore in the company. The proceeds will be used for expansion of its network in both domestic and overseas market, a company statement said. With the second round of investment, the American PE firms total investment in Kalyan Jewellers has increased to Rs 1,700 crore. It had invested Rs 1,200 crore in 2014. "The investment by Warburg Pincus is a vindication of the strong growth trajectory of the company," Kalyan Jewellers Chairman and Managing Director T S Kalyanaraman said in a statement. CarTrade.com raises Rs950 crore investment

Mumbai: Cartrade.com, an online auto classifieds company also known as MXC solutions Pvt. Ltd  has raised Rs.950 crore funding led by Singapore-based investment firm Temasek and March Capital, with participation from existing investor Warburg Pincus. The company had raised $30 million in 2014 from a group of investors that included Tiger Global, Warburg and Canaan Partners. The company  was founded in 2009 by Vinay Sanghi. Earlier it had raised $30 million from Tiger Global, Warburg and Canaan Partners. The funding will use to expand its offerings for users and dealers. The company will be looking at a few more acquisitions to strengthen its position in the market.
