Microsoft unveils Xbox Series X Gaming Console

Microsoft has unveiled a name and look for its new gaming console, the Xbox Series X, promising a still-more immersive experience as it fends off threats from streaming and rival Sony. The US company in June pointed to the technical abilities of its next-generation console when it announced "Project Scarlett", saying the new machine would be four times more powerful than the current Xbox One X, which launched in 2013. In a presentation at The Game Awards 2019, Microsoft showed off the tower-like new console for the first time and also unveiled a new wireless controller. Sony is reportedly in talks to acquire a stake in Indian media conglomerate Zee Entertainment Enterprises. In November 2018, Indian media conglomerate Zee Entertainment had decided to sell half of its promoter holding of about 42 percent in flagship Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL), following a strategic review. The company Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd is owned by Subhash Chandra. Sony Launches ‘World’s Toughest and Fastest’ SD Cards in India

Sony expanded the SF-G Series with the launch of the new UHS-II SD card range that is touted to be the world's toughest and fastest. Dubbed Tough, the new SF-G series is claimed to offer read speeds up to 300MBps and write speeds up to 299MBps. Sony has also offered a bend proof build that can be bent to 180N and resist a drop of up to five metres. All this makes it the new SD cards 18 times stronger than the SD standard that withstands 10N force, Sony claims. Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) today announced that SPN and its affiliates have entered into definitive agreements to acquire TEN Sports Network from Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEE) and its subsidiaries for 385 million U.S. dollars. Sony Generates 1200 Cr Revenue From IPL 9

Broadcaster Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has mopped up Rs 1,200 crore in advertising revenue from Indian Premier Leagues (IPL) ninth season, a growth of 20 per cent over last year. It had clocked an advertising revenue of Rs 1,000 crore from IPL 8. "We have had a 20 per cent growth in revenue. This was largely based on the change in (advertising) rates," SPN India President Rohit Gupta said. SPN had hiked its advertisement rate by 15 per cent for IPL this year. The spot rate for sponsors was Rs 5.25 lakh. The spot buy rate was Rs 5.75 lakh for standard definition channels, while for HD, price was between Rs 1.50 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh for 10-seconds.
