Online minibus service Shuttl has successfully raised an amount of $11 million (about Rs 75 crore) in a series-B financing round. This particular funding was led by Amazon, in connection with the Amazon Alexa Fund, and Dentsu Ventures along with existing investors. The mobile-based minibus service platform, Shuttl is eyeing to raise an amount of $11 million (around Rs 76 crore) in a new round of funding from a group of investors along with the e-commerce giant Amazon. Ola Shutting Down its Bus Unit ‘Shuttle’

Indian cab aggregator Ola has announced that it is shutting down its bus unit Ola Shuttle, as a part of a "re-balancing" of its mobility portfolio, reported Economic Times. Ola's Shuttle bus service will now be terminated in cities of Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata,Hyderabad and Chennai. Delhi Govt Notifies App-Based Premium Bus Services

The Delhi government has notified the app-based Premium Bus services starting from June 1 which will enable people to book their seats in buses through their smartphone on the lines of app-based taxis services in the national capital. Only air-conditioned buses will ply under the scheme according to which one bus aggregator will have to run at lease 50 vehicles to get a licence from Delhi governments Transport department. Odd-Even: These Startups Offering Free Rides

With the second phase of odd-even scheme set to be rolled out from tomorrow, ride-sharing startups are lining up with free rides and scaling up operations to handle higher demand from consumers. The odd-even scheme was implemented on an experimental basis from January 1 to January 15 in view of high air pollution in the national capital. The second phase will commence on April 15. Bus-aggregator Shuttl Touched 1 Million Rides Across Delhi-NCR in 194 Days

Gurgaon-based Shuttl, a bus-aggregator company claims to hit another milestone by, reaching its one millionth completed rides across Delhi-NCR in only 194 days of its operations. From being an intra-city to a pan Delhi-NCR public transit service, Shuttl has seen massive transformation. Shuttl has also been able to save Rs 5.10 mn per day in fuel cost for commuters, has kept 4,727 vehicles off the road daily and saved 53,460 tonnes carbon emissions till date during all it operational days.
