Gaming Startup Mech Mocha Raises $10 million in Series B Round

A mobile gaming startup known as Mech Mocha Game Studios which is based in Bengaluru has raised a sum of $10 million (Rs 71 crore) as a part of its ongoing Series B funding round. With this, the company is expecting to raise around $5-6 million for the first close from new and existing investors, Arpita Kapoor. She is the co-founder and chief executive of the venture. “We will be closing the targeted sum soon,” Arpita Kapoor said. South Korea-based Neoplux, the private equity and venture capital arm of Doosan Corp, and Akatsuki, the investment arm of Japanese mobile gaming company are the new investors in this round. Wunder Mobility Secures $30 million in Series B Funding

German mobility startup Wunder Mobility that offers a range a mobility services has secured $30 million in Series B funding. The particular round was led by KCK Group. The other existing backers that participated in the round included Blumberg Capital and other non-disclosed investors. 1mg Raises Additional Series B Funding From HBM Healthcare

1mg, India’s leading consumer health platform, has raised has raised an undisclosed amount of additional Series B funding from HBM Healthcare Investments AG, the company said in a statement. In April, the company raised Rs.100 crore in the Series B round from Maverick Capital Ventures, the venture capital (VC) arm of US-based hedge fund Maverick Capital Ltd, besides existing investors Sequoia Capital and Omidyar Network. 1mg initially raised $6 million from Sequoia Capital, Intel Capital, Omidyar Network and Deep Kalra, co-founder of travel portal MakeMyTrip.
