Online Payments Firm PayPal Made Policy Changes For Employees in India

Online payments firm PayPal today said it has enhanced the company's caregiving paid leave policies for its employees in India, including more than doubling its current maternity leave from 12 to 26 weeks and doubling its paternity leave from 5 to 10 days. The company has also introduced paid adoption leave of 16 weeks for its women employees, while the paternity policy has been adjusted to include adoption leave within its mandate, PayPal said in a release issued here. First Time Apple Cuts Tim Cook’s Payment

iPhone maker Apple has cut its CEO Tim Cook's salary by a whopping 15 percent for 2016 as annual sales declined for the year, missing targets that also led to the tech giant's first annual revenue decline in 15 years. The company gave the 56-year-old USD 8.75 million in total compensation last year, down from the USD 10.28 million he received in 2015, according to a Securities and Exchange (SEC) filing released yesterday. Cook's salary rose to USD 3 million from USD 2 million last year, a 50 percent increase, his cash bonus took a hit. Apple awarded Cook and other executives 89.5 percent of their target, instead of the maximum amount like in recent years. Abidali Neemuchwala Wipro Draws $1.8 Mn Pay Package in FY16

In his first year at Wipro, former TCS veteran got an annual pay package of USD 1.8 million (about Rs 12.04 crore). This is higher than what his predecessor and former CEO T K Kurien earned at Bengaluru-based IT major. However, his peers at rivals Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have fatter pay packages. Nikesh Arora Received $73M Pay Cheque From Softbank in 2016

Nikesh Arora, a Ex-Googler and the president and COO of SoftBank Group, received heafty pay check of $73 million (8.04 billion yen) in 2016. Arora's compensation includes $14.2 million (1.56 billion) paid by other SoftBank units. Sundar Pichai Received $100.5 million (Rs. 667 crores) Pay Package in 2015

According to the report in Bloomberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai received a $100.5 million (roughly Rs. 667 crores) pay package in 2015.
