Patanjali Considering bidding for IPL Title Sponsorship

New Delhi, Aug 10, 2020: Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved is considering to bid for the title sponsorship of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL), according to a company official. The slot of the title sponsorship of IPL was vacated after the Chinese handset maker Vivo decided to exit from it. The move would help the Haridwar-based firm access a global marketing platform, as Patanjali is focusing on exports for its Ayurveda-based FMCG products. Baba Ramdev led Indian FMCG company Patanjali Ayurved registered an online sales of up to Rs 15 crore every month and expect it to grow further every month. "Our online business is between Rs 10 to 15 crore per month, and expecting to increase it further every month. After Online Launch, Patanjali Opens Exclusive Store at IGI Airport

Yoga guru Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurveda on Thursday opened its exclusive store at the Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 2 in New Delhi. Currently Pantanjali have around 5,000 exclusive stores and would add more into that. The ayurveda company is also going to launch a new loyalty card on January 26, named ‘Swadesh Samridhi. Patanjali has plans to connect around five crore people through its loyalty programme, which would also offer insured sum to the holders in case of death and disability, he said. Earlier on January 16, Patanjali Ayurveda entered into an agreement with e-commerce websites to give a big push to the online sale of its Swadeshi range of Fast-moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
