Clover raises $5.5 mn from investors including Omnivore

Agritech platform Clover has raised over $5.5 million (around Rs 39 crore) from investors including Omnivore. The company said in a statement that it has raised this amount in Series A funding from Omnivore alongside existing investors Accel and Mayfield. Clover is a greenhouse agritech platform, which partners with farmers across India and markets premium quality, branded, greenhouse-grown fresh produce through B2B and B2C channels. Bijak Raises $2.5 Mn from Omnivore, Omidyar Network, Others

Agritech start-up Bijak has raised over USD 2.5 million (about Rs 18 crore) from various investors, including Omnivore and Omidyar Network India, for expansion of its business. Sequoia Capital India’s rapid scale-up programme, Surge and Better Capital have also invested. Gurugram-based Bijak, which was launched in May 2019 by Nukul Upadhye, Mahesh Jakhotia, Jitender Bedwal, Daya Rai and Nikhil Tripathi, would utilise the fund on new technology and hiring fresh talent, among others. Ready to Cook Food Startup Raises $5 Million Series B Funding

Bengaluru based YCook, a ready-to-cook processed package food startup raises $5 million (about ₹33.7 crore) in a Series B funding. The current funding round saw participation from Binny Bansal led venture capital firm 021 Capital, Oikocredit. The existing investor Omnivore also participated in this round. The food company will use this funding to acquire certifications, improve facilities and marketing. The company launches a food product known as Ta-daa with the aim to revolutionize cooking and encourage more people to eat healthy, wholesome, home-cooked meals.
