Nandan Nilekani Teams up With Sanjeev Aggarwal For $100 Million Fund

Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani has partnered venture capital veteran Sanjeev Aggarwal to set up a USD 100 million fund that will focus on building "enduring technology companies" out of India, specially consumer technology. Called the The Fundamentum Partnership, the platform will lead investment rounds ranging between USD 10-25 million in companies that are looking at scaling up and have attained a certain product market fit. "In a marked departure from industry practice, Fundamentum founders will not be charging any fund management fee or carried interest," it said in a statement. Infosys Co-founder Nandan Nilekani Invests in RailYatri.in

Nandan Nilekani, Infosys co-founder and former chairman of UIDAI  invested an undisclosed investment in RailYatri.in. Founded by Kapil Raizada, Sachin Saxena, and Manish Rathi, Railyatri is a web and mobile app-based startup that provides real-time and analytics-based travel-related information to passengers. The startup claims to serve 2 million users a month. BENGALURU:  Founded in 2013 by Neha Singh (ex-Sequoia Capital) and Abhishek Goyal (ex-Accel Partners), Tracxn a startup research platform has raised a new round of angel funding from Nandan Nilekani, Mohandas Pai, Neeraj Arora and Junglee Cofounder Anand Rajaraman. Tracxn had earlier raised funding from Ratan Tata, Flipkart's Sachin and Binny Bansal and Delhivery cofounder Sahil Barua besides a $3.5 million series-A round from venture capital firm SAIF Partners.
