PictureTime, a Movie Theater For Rural Areas Raises 25 Crore Funding
PictureTime, a mobile digital movie theater startup received a Rs 25 Crore investment at an unrevealed valuation in a Pre Series A funding round.
The funds will serve to provide up to 100 operational additional digiplex cinema theaters by March 2019.
PictureTime offers cinema service in rural and semi-urban areas by converting a truck into a fireproof inflatable cinema theater where up to 120-150 people can watch a movie. It takes two hours for the digiplex cinema to be fully set up. PictureTime offers a mobile cinema with seating arrangements and digital projectors and 5.1 Dolby surround sound for a high-quality cinema experience. Tickets range between Rs30-50.
