myHQ, a co-working space based in Delhi, came up with the new initiative of re-designing specific metro coaches into a perfectly equipped co-working space in a bid to make its co-workers’ time more productive while commuting. In the recent years, the work life of the modern Indian has changed tremendously making every second of their day precious; after all, time is money. This fast lifestyle leaves no excuse for a missed deadline, network problems or commuting problems such as a jammed road or no proper infrastructure and facilities in the public transport to work. The first all-electric train was completed by Alstom on time from its high-tech locomotive facility at Madhepura in Bihar. The train is the first of many more to come after the Government and the Indian Railways set up the target of achieving a 100% electrification of the railways in India and therefore step closer to sustainable mobility. Additionally, the new electric trains will cut down operating costs of the Railways by a huge margin and a huge volume of greenhouse gas emissions. Delhi Metro Train Maker Bombardier is Eyeing Up to $1 Billion Business From India

Banking big on the governments thrust to boost infrastructure, global transportation player Bombardier is eyeing up to USD 1 billion business from India in the next five years from USD 300 million, at present, its chief Laurent Troger has said. Bombardier counts India among top markets for its railway business and has invested over USD 100 million in the past two decades.
