The reason behind the Drone attack on Aramco? Saudi Family!

The weekend drone attack on one of the world's largest crude oil processing plants that dramatically cut into global oil supplies is the most visible sign yet of how Aramco's stability and security are directly linked to that of its owner the Saudi government and its ruling family. The strikes, which US Secretary blamed on Iran despite staunch denials by Tehran, led to the suspension of more than 5 percent of the world's daily crude oil production, bringing into focus just how vulnerable the company is to Saudi Arabia's conflicts outside the country's borders, particularly with regional rival Iran. That matters greatly because Aramco produces and exports Saudi Arabia's more than 9.5 million barrels of oil per day to consumers around the world, primarily in Asia. It also comes as t...

Trump Victory, Volkswagen Stop Doing Business in IRAN

Automobile maker Volkswagen will end almost all business in Iran. As per the report, the company is bowed under US pressure to stop all kind of business activity with IRAN but VW will still be able to do humanitarian business in Iran. The decision was made after several round of talks between the German auto giant and the administration of President Donald Trump, said Richard Grenell, the US Ambassador to Germany. In May, Trump pulled the US out of the deal it reached with Iran and five other countries in 2015. That accord lifted sanctions against Tehran in exchange for restrictions on its nuclear program. Now, the US is reimposing those sanctions. VW has scrapped plans it announced in July last year to sell cars in Iran for the first time in 17 years. займ турбозаймонлайн займ...

China’s ZTE Signs US Agreement to put itself Back in Business

ZTE Corp, China's leading telecommunication equipment maker has signed an agreement in principle that would lift a US Commerce Department ban on buying from US suppliers, as informed from the sources. ZTE had to cease its major operations post a seven-year ban imposed on the company in April when it breached the 2017 agreement and was caught shipping goods illegally to North Korea and Iran. The U.S. action which was first reported earlier in March had turn devastating for ZTE as China’s second-biggest telecom equipment maker relied heavily on U.S companies such as Qualcomm and Intel for up to a third of its components. While ZTE has refrained itself from commenting on the matter, a commerce department spokesperson has said that "no definitive agreement has been signed by both part...

Iran Releases Messaging App Soroush Post Telegram Ban

The Iranian government has officially released a mobile messaging app, Soroush in a bid to encourage users to abandon the currently banned Telegram messenger. The app, Soroush, developed in the country has a majority of features already found in popular app Telegram, that was used extensively as a way of communicating during 2017's anti-government protests. The push for Soroush came into force when National Cyber Centre decided to withdraw Telegram's license to operate in the country. As per IRNA, a state press agency Telegram's license cancellation was announced by the Telecommunication Infrastructure Company which is the sole telecommunication infrastructure provider in Iran. Soroush that has been available for several weeks was officially launched on Thursday. The promot...
