An integrated water management solutions startup WEGoT has raised USD 2 million (about Rs 14.2 crore) in seed funding led by GoFrugal, Shyam Shekar from iThought, and Brigade Enterprises Ltd. IoT (Internet of Things) and SaaS (Software as a Service) startup TempoGo has recently raised a funding of $250K from Javelin Startup-O Victory Fund. TempoGo also raised an additional funding from Dubai based NB Ventures, a $50 million fund whose Indian investments include logistics startup LetsTransport and fitness app HealthifyMe. IIT Kharagpur Partners With Samsung for Digital Academy

IIT-Kharagpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Samsung India for the setting up of a digital academy on the institute's campus. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the institute would host the Samsung Innovation Lab and train students on the Internet of Things (IoT) through Tizen-based operating systems, commonly used by the company for its mobile phones and home appliances.
