As per the Bloomberg report, Ride-hailing startup Gojek has acquired a payment startup Moka for $130 million. The deal was under negotiations since last year and completed about a month ago. The report also said, Indonesia based Ride-hailing and food delivery startup recently raises $1.2 billion funding to cement its position in digital payments space to acquire the users who are shifting away from cash and using digital services in this virus lockdown. Indonesia's based food and grocery delivery startup GO-JEK has acquired Bangalore based Pianta, a marketplace for home healthcare services, for an undisclosed sum. Post the acquisition, Pianta's eight member team will merge with GO-JEK's engineering centre in Bangalore. Founded in 2010, GO-JEK has over two lakh motorbike taxis, known as "ojeks" in its fleet. Since then, the company has diversified into food, grocery and even courier delivery services. Healthcare startup Practo today said it has forayed into the Indonesian market with its product, 'Practo Search'. Practo has a presence in India, Philippines and Singapore and has a team of 1,500 employees. Indonesians will be able to search for over 4,200 verified doctors in over 60 percent of all clinics across Jakarta DKI, using Practo website or an app that has been specially built for the region, Practo said in a statement.
