Nestaway Raises $51 Million Funding From Ratan Tata & Others

NestAway Technologies Pvt. Ltd. also known as NestAway announced that it had raised USD 51 million (Rs. 330 Crores) in series D round. The funding was raised from UC-RNT Fund (a joint venture between Tata Son's chairman emeritus Ratan Tata's RNT Associates and the University of California), Schroder Adveq, Goldman Sachs and the HK . Home Rental Startup Fastfox Raises Rs 10 crore From Lightspeed Ventures And Others

A home rental technology company FastFox has raised Rs 10 crore in Series A1 round led by Lightspeed, Blume Ventures and others. One of the co-founders of the startup Pallav Pandey also contributed Rs 1.93 crore in the current round. Founded by Pallav Pandey and Mukul Bhati in November 2014, the online-to-offline firm raised Rs 30 crore form Lightspeed India Partners, Blume Ventures, CyberAgent Ventures, GrowX Ventures, and IMJ Investment Partners in its Series A financing in April 2016. In 2015, it raised Rs 6 crore alone from Lightspeed Ventures as part of its seed funding. Home Rental Startup ZiffyHomes Acquires FellaHomes

Delhi based home rental solution provider ZiffyHomes, operated by Ziffy Technologies Pvt. Ltd, has acquired FellaHomes for an all-cash and equity deal. However, the amount has not yet been disclosed. Ziffy said in a statement that the acquisition was in line with its expansion strategy. After this acquisition, it would now become one of the largest aggregators of exclusive rental properties in Delhi-NCR. “Both Fella and Ziffy have been trying to solve the same problem in the same market while working with same partners, vendors, and customers in the ecosystem. Realty portal Housing.com, which has recently merged with PropTiger.com, has re-entered into rent business and targets to list 2 lakh homes in the next three months. Housing.com, which was founded in 2012, initially focused on providing independently verified listings of homes to address the issue of finding homes for rent in metros and major cities. However, the company had in November 2015 decided to restructure its business to focus only on buying and selling of apartments. "... NestAway Raises $30-million Funding From Tiger Global

As per the report in TOI, Bengaluru-based home rental startup NestAway raises $30-million (or Rs 200-crore) funding from New York-based investment fund Tiger Global. This is the first investment from Tiger Global in 2016. Founded by Amarendra Sahu, Deepak Dhar, Jitendra Jagadev and Smruti Ranjan Parida, NestAway takes a percentage of the monthly rent it generates from the property owners in exchange for offering maintenance and upkeep.
