Microsoft Prohibited its employees from using Slack, AWS

SAN FRANCISCO: Satya Nadella led Microsoft banned its employees from using instant messaging platform Slack due to security concerns. As per the report, Microsoft released a list of prohibited software and services including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Docs inside the company. As per the company, "Slack Free, Slack Standard, and Slack Plus versions do not provide required controls to properly protect Microsoft Intellectual Property (IP)" and hence it advises that staff should use its internally developed software instead. Google Makes Paid Storage Plans Cheaper with “Google One” Upgrade

Just post its Annual Developer Conference I/O 2018, Google has come out with a new, low-cost storage plan called 'Google One' which is a revamped version of its Google Drive online storage subscription. The new Google One plan will start at 100GB for $1.99 which is the same price as Drive. However, under the new plan, an additional 200GB plan will be available for $2.99. Also, the current 1TB plan for $9.99 will also offer double space of up to 2TB. However, plans larger than 2TB will not be changed in terms of pricing.
