Reliance Jio total funding: Facebook, Silver Lake, Vista Equity Partners & General Atlantic Invests $8.8 billion

India's leading telecom company Reliance Jio announced another funding round from US-based equity firm General Atlantic. General Atlantic invests $873 Million in Reliance Jio for 1.34% stake, the company said in a statement. This is the fourth deal of Investment in Reliance Jio in less than four weeks that will inject a combined $8.8 billion in the oil-to-telecom conglomerate to help it clear its debt. The Investment puts Reliance Jio's total value around $68 billion. NoBroker raises $30 Million in funding led by General Atlantic

Mumbai, Apr 17th, 2020: Bengaluru-based startup NoBroker raises $30 Million (about Rs 230 crore) in funding led by private equity player General Atlantic. With this funding round, NoBroker so far raises USD 151 million. "This USD 30 million investment is an addition to the Series D funding, wherein the company raised USD 50 million or over Rs 615 crore in October last year taking it to USD 80 million. The initial round of Series D funding was led by Tiger Global, and General Atlantic had also participated in it," the company said in a statement. General Atlantic Acquires ICICI Venture’s Stake in KIMS

India’s largest private sector fund ICICI Venture has sold off 30% of its stake in hospital chain Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences to its competitor General Atlantic worth Rs 850 crore. Through this deal, the company is expected to make close to four-fold returns on its initial investment in four years. The valuation of the Hyderabad based hospital chain has been raised to around Rs 2,700 crore from Rs 850 crore in 2014. In 2014, ICICI Venture had invested about Rs 220 crore in the hospital chain, which had around 500 beds. The hospital chain KIMS, which had received the SEBI approval for a public offering had to postpone its share sale plan because of the regulatory changes and pricing uncertainty.
