FarEye raises USD 25 mn funding, to accelerate growth in US, Europe

Logistics software company FarEye raises USD 25 million (around Rs 190 crore) in funding led by Microsoft's venture fund M12, with participation from Eight Roads Ventures and Honeywell Ventures. Existing investor SAIF Partners also participated in the series D round. The company, which has raised USD 40 million till date, did not disclose the valuation at which the latest funds were raised. Saif Partners-backed SaaS company FarEye has reportedly acquired an internet-of-things (IoT) platform called Dipper Technologies which provides visibility and predictability in freight movement. However, the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. FarEye recently raised Rs 61 crore in its third round of fundraising and is now expecting to secure more capital next year. Logistics Management Software Provider FarEye Raises $3.5 Million

FarEye, a logistics management software provider, today said it has raised USD 3.5 million (Rs 20 crore) from SAIF Partners. The series A funding will be used for business expansion to other territories, FarEye said in a statement. There is a strong road-map of product enhancement for next 12 months and new features will be added regularly, it added. The company plans to integrate with IoT platforms and drones to enable automated delivery. "We are profitable B2B startup and believe in organic growth.
