Logistics Management Software Provider FarEye Raises $3.5 Million

FarEye, a logistics management software provider, today said it has raised USD 3.5 million (Rs 20 crore) from SAIF Partners. The series A funding will be used for business expansion to other territories, FarEye said in a statement. There is a strong road-map of product enhancement for next 12 months and new features will be added regularly, it added. DTDC Express Invested $1 million in Logistics Firm Shipsy

Logistics major DTDC Express has picked up 20 per cent stake in Gurgaon-based Llama Logisol, which operates logistics solutions provider Shipsy, for over USD 1 million (Rs 6.65 crore). Shipsy was founded in June last year by IIT graduates, Soham Chokshi, Dhruv Agrawal, Maharshi Devraj and Himanshu Gupta. Abhishek Chakraborty, Executive Director of DTDC Express, said the investment in Shipsy would go a long way in helping it adopt disruptive technologies.
