Online Learning Platform Coursera files for IPO

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., 8th March 2021-- Online learning platform Coursera has filed for an IPO with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined. Coursera has applied to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “COUR”. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs & Co. Online Education Firm Coursera Raises $64 Million Funding

Online education firm Coursera has raised USD 64 million from GSV Asset Management, New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers (KPCB), among others. The series D funding round also saw participation from Learn Capital and Lampert Foundation, Coursera said in a statement. Online Education Platform Coursera Focussing on Tie-Up With Indian Enterprises

Online education firm Coursera is focussing on partnering Indian enterprises for corporate learning solutions as part of its efforts to expand its presence in the country. Coursera, which counts India as its third largest learner market after the US and China, has 1.3 million users here. Globally, it has a user base of 19 million learners.
