LetsTransport Acquihires Pixlcoders

LetsTransport, a tech-logistics solution provider said it has acqui-hired Bengaluru-based web and mobile app development company, Pixlcoders. LetsTransport has on-boarded the team of the Pixlcoders with an aim to strengthen the supply chain, boosting technology and enhancing its applications, a statement said. "With this acqui-hire decision, LetsTransport aims to further build on disruptive technology for logistics and expand its presence in India," it added. Microsoft Acquire Coding Site GitHub Inc For $7.5 Bn

According to the reports, the software leader Microsoft has approved of buying out GitHub Inc. for $7.5 Billion. Github is the world's leading company for providing open-source code hosting services. GitHub was last valued at $2 billion back in 2015, however, the terms of the present deal are still not known and have neither been publicized by the company. Microsoft said in a statement, "it will acquire GitHub for USD 7.5 billion in Microsoft stock." China Tightens Rules For Mobile App Developers

China has tightened rules for mobile app developers including requiring real-name registration and preserving users' activity logs, the country's internet regulator said on Tuesday, as Beijing looks to strengthen oversight of the growing app market. The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said in a statement that mobile app providers would need to fulfill six requirements to help crack down on "unscrupulous" use of their platforms to carry out fraud, distribute pornography and spread malicious rumors. Code.org Hacked, Emails and Locations Data of Volunteers Compromised

An anonymous reader allegedly quoting an email from Code.org, claims that the database of the non-profit organization has been breached: Some personal data was accessed on our web site by a firm exploiting a client-side vulnerability. Your email address and your location, if you provided it, were compromised and may have been read. The exploit was limited to engineers and others who volunteered to help in classrooms. No student or teacher accounts were impacted, nor passwords or additional information. The exploit did not give hackers access to any of our servers.
