Sushil Modi Sets Up First ‘Startup Hub’ in Patna

Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, Sushil Kumar Modi inaugurated Bihar’s first ‘Startup Hub’ in Patna on Saturday and along reaffirmed the state’s commitment in providing the necessary tools to assist youths aspiring to become entrepreneurs in Bihar. Addressing to his young audience, the IT Minister stated, "youths should come forward in setting up startups. They should take risks and try to do something different. The state government is committed to providing necessary assistance in the field." He further vowed that the state government will set up workstations and office spaces equipped with free of cost “plug and play facility” to 31 startup companies in the recently installed startup hub. Super 30 Will Start Online Coaching For Students: Anand Kumar

Super 30 founder Anand Kumar today said he has plans to expand the programme to provide online coaching to meritorious students from across the country soon. "I have plan to launch Super-100 to enroll 100 meritorious class X pass out students from across the country to provide them coaching online," Kumar told Pixr8 today. The online application for the proposed coaching were being invited and select candidates would be selected based on merits, he said. While priority for the selection of candidates would be underprivileged, the focus would be to select candidates from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand, he said expressing hope the online coaching facility would be launched in the later part of this year. Two policemen have been suspended and show cause notices issued to two police officers following the detention of two entrepreneurs who had allegedly created ruckus at a start up meet in the presence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The two entrepreneurs, who were frequently speaking without the chief ministers permission at the programme on March 21, were detained by the Patna police and questioned at Gandhi Maidan police station for a personal background check.
