BHIM App Offering Cashbacks: Know How To Avail

The Government of India is leaving no stone unturned in pushing its BHIM app to garner more digital transactions and now it has come up with attractive cashback offers for customers as well as merchants. Under the new cashback scheme, new users will be entitled a cash benefit worth Rs. 51 while merchants will get a total benefit of Rs. 1000 when opting for BHIM App. The best part of the offer is it does not put a transaction limit to avail the scheme. In addition, a cashback of Rs. 25 will be given for every transaction with a minimum value of Rs.100 to any UPI ID, mobile number, virtual payment address. Paytm And PhonePay Asks PM Modi To Make NPCI Neutral Towards Bhim

An issue of NPCI's premium treatment to BHIM app was brought up by several leading entrepreneurs in the payments sector, including Paytm’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma and PhonePe’s Sameer Nigam, at the NITI Aayog event held last week, reiterating the suggestions made by the Watal Committee. BHIM Referral Scheme Gaining Momentum, Received 50 Million Downloads

The Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) referral bonus scheme for consumers has started gaining momentum in the country, NPCI managing director and chief executive A P Hota said today. The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14, 2017 on the occasion of commemorating the 126th birth anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. The total targeted outlay by the government of India for rewarding the referee and referrer is Rs 495 crore for a period of six month (from April 14, 2017 to October 14), NPCI said in a statement. BHIM App Reaches Near 20 Million Downloads

Indigenous digital payments app BHIM has recorded close to 20 million downloads so far, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant on Tuesday said. "We have close to 20 million downloads of BHIM app," Kant said at an event here. On December 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the app for fast and secure cashless transactions using mobile phones. BHIM is a platform designed to make payment through UPI and USSD modes simpler. Digital payment channels like mobile wallets, USSD and RuPay have seen massive uptake and rise in transactions post demonetisation.

BHIM App Crosses 18 Million Downloads

Indigenous digital payments app BHIM, launched by the central government last December for fast and secure cashless transactions, has recorded 18 million downloads so far, Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant today said.
