NestAway Appoints Ex Amazon Executive Sandeep Daga as CFO

NestAway, a home rental network has reportedly appointed former Amazon executive Sandeep Daga as the Chief Financial Officer of the company.

Prior to NestAway, Daga was the Finance head for food and retail business in Amazon. He has been working with Amazon since October 2015. Apart from Amazon, he has also been at key positions in Reliance Retail, Lifestyle International, ITC Ltd and Larsen and Toubro. Daga has experience of over 22 years in consumer-facing business.

As NestAway continues to innovate and grow the home rental network, it is at the forefront to unlock huge growth potential to build affordable city housing,” said Sandeep Daga.

Along with this appointment, the home rental company has also appointed Ravindra Singh Rawat as its Vice President of Technology. Prior to this, Rawat worked on creating a platform for smart meter data analytics, with the help of big data technologies and machine learning pipelines for energy data disaggregation. He has also worked at Zaloni, Xebia, RBS, and Globallogic.

“We plan to make rental experiences smoother and painless for both tenants and owners using technology. Our vision is to use data & algorithms to solve problems in the rental marketplace and drive data-driven decision making similar to other domains,” said Rawat.

Amarendra Sahu, CEO of NestAway Technologies stated that he believes that Sandeep’s experience and expertise in complex consumer-facing business shall accelerate the company’s current and also allow customers to explore the entire gamut of financial services around real estate market.

On the other hand, Smruti Parida, Chief Technology Officer of the company exclaimed that Ravindra’s experience in building world-class products using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and big data will strengthen the commitment to customers and provide the best possible experience.
