India’s biggest e-commerce company, Flipkart, celebrated its eighth anniversary and success of Big Billion day with a celebrity-packed event, which included a Bollywood star like Ayushman, Akshay Kumar, Vishal and Shekhar on a hoverboard. Employees gathered in Yehlanka, a suburb of Bangalore, for the star-studded concert designed to help them unwind after a week of long nights during the company’s annual sale ahead of India’s big holiday-shopping season. The company said it sold $300 million worth of goods during the five-day sale.

The Bangalore-based Flipkart—a local startup most recently valued at $15 billion, making it India’s largest unicorn—had a five-hour-long concert for its employees and their families Thursday. “This was one of the biggest parties Bangalore has ever had,” said a Flipkart spokeswoman. “Others might have had one or two celebrities. We had four.”

During the event, employees tweeted photos of themselves sleeping at the office after working extra-long shifts. Mr. Kumar—one of Bollywood’s biggest stars—performed for nearly an hour along with backup dancers in shorts that appeared to be trimmed with LED lights. He spent part of the performance on a hoverboard.
