The Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit which is scheduled to start from tomorrow at Lucknow has a quirky tech awaiting which will surprise the guests and others in attendance.
It is reported that a robot which is programmed for speaking three different languages is specially built to welcome the event attenders. The event that is organised to welcome best minds having excellent ideas and investors from the state and more will count at least 18 Union ministers attending the summit including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Nirmala Sitharaman, Nitin Gadkari, Suresh Prabhu, Smriti Irani, Ravi Shanker Prasad, Dr Harsh Vardhan, V K Singh, Dharmendra Pradhan etc. The ministers will have individual sessions to attract investment for the state.
The trilingual robot which is designed mainly for the summit, will be the prime attraction of the event as well. It is developed not only to welcome the prominent guests and media but also to help keep an eye on people attending the event, which means the robot also possess a security feature.
The robot can speak Hindi, English and Sanskrit and is referred to as Artificial Intelligence by its developers. The company who has designed the technology says that it is an Humanoid Robot which can imitate human habits by creating a database.
“The robot is still in learning process. After collecting data it will become more intelligent than a human being. For security reason, it will be beneficial. It can scan retina of person who comes in front of it,” said Milind Raj, the developer of the robot.
Around 900 memorandums of understandings (MoUs) have been signed with different companies according to Anoop Chandra Pandey, Uttar Pradesh’s Industrial Development Commissioner.
Around 7000 people have registered to participate in the summit, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday.
