Xiaomi Launches its First Official Store in Israel

The ever emerging Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi announced that it has launched its first official store in Israel. The store was opened in the coastal city of Tel Aviv on Tuesday.

The company stated that the newly set up store will be offering more than 100 products, that will comprise of smartphones, laptops, cameras, speakers, routers, headsets, electric scooters, smart kettles, electric toothbrushes, smart robotic vacuum cleaners, smart watches, chargers and selfie sticks among others.

Talking about the market share, the company covers about 14 percent market share in Israel which is huge. After Apple and Samsung, the Chinese player stands at the third position in Israel’s smartphone market.

At a cost of $ 270,000 (1 million new shekels), the store is situated at the Dizengoff Center shopping mall at the heart of Tel Aviv and occupies 140 square meters along with a service laboratory.

Earlier in August, the company launched its new flagship device Mi 8 in Israel. Xiaomi is accelerating up and foraying into the major markets globally. It has built its footprints in various major smartphone markets in the world and is further making many appreciable efforts for growth.

Also, along with this, the company is trying to capture the premium smartphone market in many economies.
