Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, Sushil Kumar Modi inaugurated Bihar’s first ‘Startup Hub’ in Patna on Saturday and along reaffirmed the state’s commitment in providing the necessary tools to assist youths aspiring to become entrepreneurs in Bihar.
Addressing to his young audience, the IT Minister stated, “youths should come forward in setting up startups. They should take risks and try to do something different. The state government is committed to providing necessary assistance in the field.”
He further vowed that the state government will set up workstations and office spaces equipped with free of cost “plug and play facility” to 31 startup companies in the recently installed startup hub.

The startup hub has been inaugurated to nurse the spirit of entrepreneurship in the youths living in the state, said Dy CM. He further explained that reforms regarding policy and structure of the scheme have recently begun in view of promoting IT-enabled services and ESDM (Electronics System Design and Manufacturing) in Bihar.
Modi also mentioned that the IT tower will be built in Dakbungalow, which is the heart of the capital under PPP mode. Moreover, a proposal is on course to set up an IT park in Bihta (Patna district) and an IT City will be raised in Rajgir (Nalanda district), according to the Sushil Modi.
He further stated that the startup hub is a facility center designed for everybody.
Modi, in his belief that the next revolution will come through IT development urged the young minds of Bihar to come forward with innovative ideas that will benefit sectors such as health, agriculture, skill development and more.
