Founded by Romil Mittal and Mayank Bhagya in 2015, SIFTR Labs a photography curation startup has secured $150,000 (Rs 1 crore) led by Angel investors Vishal Maheshwari, Vikas Kapoor, Daud Ali and Nitin Agarwal from investment platform Venture Catalysts, the company said in a press statement.
Maheshwari, a former senior director at Yahoo India who led the funding round, said: “We believe that another digital re-evolution is imminent which shall be driven by advanced graphics processing unit and machine learning. As such, the promising technology that SIFTR employs makes it well-poised for success,” Maheshwari said.
